Manchester-based delivery tech firm DeliveryApp has appointed former DPD Group UK boss Dwain McDonald as its CEO. McDonald will assist the company in its expansion strategy, through his experience in leadership, innovation and technology in the logistics and delivery sector.
Having worked at DPD for over 30 years, McDonald is an industry expert in the logistics space. During his 12 years as DPD Group UK CEO, he drove DPD from a mid-tier B2B carrier to one of the top home delivery couriers in the UK market. As McDonald takes on the role of DeliveryApp CEO, founder Lance Jones will move into the position of executive chairman, working alongside McDonald in furthering DeliveryApp’s growth.
