Markus Voss has been named as the new CEO of DHL Freight, effective September 1, taking over from Uwe Brinks. Voss, who is currently chief development officer at DHL Supply Chain, will report directly to Tim Scharwath, CEO of DHL Global Forwarding, Freight, and become a member of the division’s management board.
Additionally, DHL is establishing a new European Transportation Board to enhance cross-divisional collaboration in land transportation among DHL Global Forwarding, DHL Freight and DHL Supply Chain. This initiative aims to deliver more integrated and efficient solutions for customers while unlocking further business growth opportunities. The new European Transportation Board consists of the CEO of DHL Global Forwarding Europe, the CEO of DHL Freight, and the CEO of DHL Supply Chain EMEA.
