Parcelforce Worldwide has redesigned its app and launched new features in a bid to establish it as the primary communication channel for recipients of parcels. According to Parcelforce, the new app will help senders and recipients manage their deliveries more effectively.

The app has been redesigned to make it more intuitive and simple to navigate, with easy to follow instructions for registration. Retailers and consumers can start their sending journey in the app with a new ‘quick quote’ option. There is new help functionality including FAQs, links to Parcelforce Worldwide social media channels and access to customer service teams. The app also includes a new feature enabling customers to have items delivered to their preferred Post Office branch should they not be home.

Existing app features have also been updated to increase ease of use. In My Parcel Live, on the day of delivery the app now provides a delivery time and customers can track delivery to their door. It also includes delivery preferences such as deliver to neighbor, safe place and Post Office options.
