Parcel+Post Expo opens next week!

Amsterdam will once again welcome leaders from across the parcel and postal sector next week when the industry descends on Parcel+Post Expo. Taking place at the RAI Amsterdam in the Netherlands on October 21-23, the expo will showcase technology from across the sector, including innovations in last-mile delivery solutions, parcel locker networks, sorting system upgrades, sustainable vehicle solutions and much, much more.

Check out the latest exhibitor news in the exclusive show preview in the September issue of Parcel and Postal Technology International and discover the must-see exhibits on the show floor.

This year’s event also includes a plethora of opportunities to connect with leading solution providers, exciting new startups, disruptors and young innovators, to discover what’s new in the industry.

Innovation labs

The Innovation Labs are exciting new features at this year’s Parcel+Post Expo. These workshops and ‘meet the expert’ panels will take place on the show floor throughout the three-day event and are all free to attend!

Anticipated highlights include the Next-gen automation and smart parcel tech session, which will take place at the AI Parcel Lab from 10-11:30am on October 22.

Presentations will include ‘Efficiency unlocked: automated sortation solutions for every product type’, with Gert Jan Veelenturf, sales manager at Eurosort, exploring how automated sortation can revolutionize your operations. This interactive presentation will address the challenges of managing today’s ever-changing product mix and capacity challenges, and explore the best solutions to meet these demands.

Attendees will learn which technologies optimize efficiency, boost throughput and reduce errors in your workflow. The presentation will also offer a deep dive into the advantages of split tray sorters, both as standalone systems and when combined with crossbelt or other sorting solutions. Don’t miss this opportunity to unlock new efficiencies and transform your sortation process with the right solution for your business!

On October 23, 10am-12pm in the Locker Room, attendees will be able to explore The future of OOH and first- and last-mile solutions with presentations from Martin Kyburz, CEO of Kyburz, discussing ‘The next generation of smart urban logistics – how can we rearrange our last-mile mobility to be competitive’ and Thomas Wälchli, cluster lead city logistics at Swiss Post, exploring ‘Out of home delivery – the Swiss perspective on a booming market’.

Şadi Çağatay Öztürk, CTO at Rovenma, will also present during this session on how to solve the first mile with lockers. This presentation will explore how smart parcel locker technology, traditionally used in C2C first/last-mile or B2C last-mile deliveries, can be strategically adapted to optimize first-mile logistics (B2B and B2C) – the critical stage where goods begin their journey from senders, suppliers or local businesses to distribution or fulfillment centers.

It’s all happening at the Innovation Labs! View the full agenda here.
