Parcelforce improves parcel tracking services

Parcelforce Worldwide, Royal Mail’s express parcel business, has made a number of enhancements to its parcel tracking function on its website, including a new, easy-to-understand visual display status bar that illustrates where a parcel is in its delivery journey.

To further increase parcel tracking visibility, Parcelforce has introduced summary messages that will appear alongside the visual display, informing customers of the parcels last known tracked location. A new proof-of-delivery signature will also be automatically displayed on the same screen when available. To further improve convenience, Parcelforce has introduced PayPal as a payment option for customers using its website.

Gary Simpson, managing director of Parcelforce Worldwide, said, “A full end-to-end tracking service is central to our offering as a business, which is why we’re happy to announce the improvements to the tracking information a customer sees when they visit our website. Parcelforce Worldwide is a very responsive business and we are committed to developing services to meet the changing demands of businesses, online retailers and other customers.”
