Yeep! has partnered with Tesco to install parcel lockers at 30 store locations across the UK, following a trial phase between the two companies.
The rollout will see Yeep!’s solar-powered lockers deployed at selected Tesco sites, with further expansion planned depending on performance and customer feedback. The lockers are designed to allow customers to collect, send and return parcels during regular shopping trips.
Yeep! said the partnership forms part of its wider expansion strategy, which includes installations at retail destinations, transportation hubs, residential areas and community locations. The company currently operates more than 3,000 lockers nationwide as it looks to grow its open parcel locker network.
The lockers are accessible 24/7 and are intended to reduce missed home deliveries by providing a centralized collection point. Yeep! added that consolidating deliveries at these locations could help reduce vehicle trips, congestion and associated emissions.
Jamie Dickinson, CEO of Yeep!, said, “We are incredibly proud to be partnering with Tesco to roll out Yeep! parcel lockers across their store network. As one of the UK’s most trusted retailers, Tesco shares our commitment to convenience, accessibility and community presence, making this a significant milestone for Yeep!.
“This partnership marks an important step in our mission to make parcel delivery and returns simpler, smarter and more accessible. By placing Yeep! lockers at Tesco locations, we are meeting customers where they already shop and providing secure, convenient parcel services that fit seamlessly into their daily routines.”
Dickinson said the collaboration would support Tesco’s customer experience while driving additional footfall and accelerating Yeep!’s national expansion. “Most importantly, this collaboration makes sending, collecting and returning parcels easier than ever for customers,” he said.
