Parcel+Post Expo opens in two weeks!

In two weeks’ time, the doors will open on Parcel+Post Expo at the RAI Amsterdam in the Netherlands, with leading solution providers showcasing everything from last-mile delivery systems to sorting technologies from October 21-23.

This year’s exhibitor line-up covers a variety of tech from across the sector, as well as opportunities to meet with leading solution providers, exciting new startups, disrupters and young innovators, to discover what’s new in the industry.

Check out the latest exhibitor news in the exclusive show preview in the September issue of Parcel and Postal Technology International.

Innovation Labs

Based on attendee feedback, Parcel+Post Expo is bringing some exciting new features to the show floor this year, in the form of its Innovation Labs.

Delivering insight at every stage, these Innovation Labs will offer workshops and ‘meet the expert’ panels (and more) – and they are all free to attend!

Anticipated highlights include Strategic adaptation: thriving in the new normal of logistics, taking place in the AI Parcel Lab at 10am on October 21. Cédric Hervet, co-CEO of Kardinal, will share insights from a decade of digital projects in the parcel and postal sector, both the ones that succeeded and those that failed, and the key factors that make the difference, from data foundations to leadership and change management.

Gavin Macrae, co-founder and president for Europe at Delta Prospect, will moderate the session.

At 4:20pm on October 21, visit the Locker Room to hear Inside the RFP: how carriers choose tech vendors (and how to win their business). The presentation will give visitors insider knowledge about the buying process and an understanding of how logistics carriers evaluate and select technology vendors. Discover critical success factors, common pitfalls and actionable strategies to position your solutions effectively, stand out from your competitors and ultimately secure long-term partnerships with your clients.

Speakers will include Andre Veskimeister, CEO and founder, Parcel Locker Central, as moderator; Mirko Woetzel, chief growth officer and co-founder, kernTerminal; Andras Lengyel, VP international business development, Austrian Post; Laurens Himpe, chief automated parcel officer, bpost; and Johan Holstein, director of digital and last-mile transformation, GLS.

Over at the Startup & Innovation Zone at 10am on October 22, visitors will benefit from a panel discussion exploring Corporate expectations: a startup’s guide to partnership. The session will give startups an invaluable opportunity to gain direct insights into the minds of corporate partners. Leading corporate representatives will demystify their expectations, outlining the key criteria, strategic priorities and operational readiness they seek when evaluating and engaging with startups.

Speakers will include Tim Miksche, CEO, KSB transferNET UG, as moderator; Marcos Vinicius Pedroso de Almeida, ground operations innovation director – Europe, DHL Express; and Jesper Bang-Olsen, head of venture development, Beam.

It’s all happening at the Innovation Labs! View the full agenda here.
