DP World has opened a new warehouse in Johor, Malaysia, as part of the continued expansion of its logistics network across Southeast Asia.
The Johor facility is the first of two warehouses planned for Malaysia, with one in Kuala Lumpur scheduled to open later this year. Situated within the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone, the 11,514m2 warehouse is intended to support contract logistics operations for customers in time-sensitive supply chains, while strengthening connectivity between Malaysia, Singapore and regional trade corridors.
Jeanie Tan, chief commercial officer for logistics, Asia-Pacific at DP World, said, “The opening of our warehouse in Johor marks an important step in strengthening our growing logistics footprint across Southeast Asia. As we continue to invest in strategic logistics assets across the region, and connect them to our existing network of ports and terminals, we are enhancing our ability to deliver end-to-end supply chain solutions that help customers move goods more efficiently, reliably and resiliently. This facility will accelerate our Southeast Asia growth and build the capacity needed to support our customers’ long-term success.”
In addition to the two Malaysia warehouses, DP World said it is launching new warehouses in the Philippines and Thailand before the end of the year.
The openings follow a series of logistics investments by the company across the wider Asia-Pacific region, including its first warehouse in Singapore, which opened in May 2025 and recently achieved TAPA FSR certification, along with new facilities in Hong Kong, Sydney and Icheon.
DP World operates a network of 16 ports and terminals across Asia-Pacific, alongside its expanding contract logistics platform, which integrates warehousing, inland transportation and its air, ocean, less-than-container-load and intermodal freight services.
