We’re heading to Amsterdam on October 21-23 to unpack the latest industry developments at the global showcase of innovation and disruption in the postal and logistics industries. With new exhibitors, new content zones – taking place on the exhibition floor – and a Leadership Conference, the team will be exploring new industry developments from all angles. So, here it is, your agenda for Parcel+Post Expo 2025.

Innovation Labs

For this year, we have introduced Innovation Labs, which will bring interactive on-site content onto the show floor. These zones will help visitors locate specific technologies and provide unrivaled insight into the future shape and scope of this fast-paced industry. To be delivered in the form of practical workshops, panels and more! These labs include:

The AI Parcel Lab

What is it? This is a new dedicated space for all AI-driven solutions, helping to transform the parcel, postal and logistics industry. The AI Parcel Lab is where the future of intelligent logistics will take shape.

Format: Benefit from workshops, AI learning sessions and meet the expert panels. All free to attend!

An anticipated highlight: Mattia Crespi, CEO at Qbit Technologies, will host a workshop titled ‘From GenAI to Agentic AI: Navigating the Next Frontier in Intelligent Automation’. Visitors will benefit from a hands-on workshop that will introduce participants to the current landscape of AI, including Generative AI, Agentic AI and autonomous systems.

The workshop will be split into two parts; the first will provide visitors with a structured introduction to today’s AI capabilities, their practical applications and emerging challenges – from infrastructure to ethics. The second part will shift into interactive mode: through a guided exercise of scenario-building, participants will explore AI use cases relevant to the postal/parcel sector, identify adoption barriers and develop strategic responses.

Takeaways: Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of how to translate AI potential into actionable innovation within their organizations.

The Locker Room

What is it? With out-of-home delivery booming, the Locker Room will present interactive workshops and fireside chats exploring the challenges and opportunities facing the fast-growing last-mile delivery sector. All free to attend!

An anticipated highlight: Inside the RFP: How carriers choose tech vendors (and how to win their business)

Gain insider knowledge into the buying process and understand how logistics carriers evaluate and select technology vendors. Discover critical success factors, common pitfalls and actionable strategies to position your solutions effectively, stand out from competitors and ultimately secure long-term partnerships with your clients.

Speakers will include Sheila Sastre, OOH Manager, GLS Group; Mirko Woetzel, chief growth officer and co-founder, Kern Terminal; Andras Lengyel, VP international business development, Austrian Post; and Laurens Himpe, chief automated parcel officer, Bpost.

The Start-up & Innovation Zone

What is it? A launchpad for the next generation of logistics and delivery disruptors, this exciting new space will give startups and innovators an exclusive opportunity to showcase breakthrough technologies and business models to investors, partners and industry leaders. If you’re looking for the next big idea, you’ll find it here!

Format: Dragons’ Den-style pitches will be delivered to a group of industry expert judges, and the winners will be announced during an awards’ ceremony on day 1. Free to attend!

View the agenda for the Innovation Labs here.

Leadership Conference

To deliver more of the content you want to see, we have worked with an industry consultant to help shape the program for the Leadership Conference. The result is a program in which delegates will be able to hear solutions and learn about the direction of the industry, directly from posts, retailers and parcel carriers. Delegates will also be able to enjoy excellent networking opportunities, from coffee breaks at the VIP lounge to the Opening Day Drinks Reception.

Highlights of the anticipated presentation program include:

#1 Thriving in E‑Commerce: Smart, agile and digital by design

Speaker: Eeuwe Kamsteeg, director digital and agile transformation, PostNL

Kamsteeg will reflect on how PostNL’s move from “doing digital” to truly “being digital” was a necessary foundation to unlock the next phase of transformation. He will explore this next phase with delegates at the Leadership Conference: how staying ahead of the curve in areas like GenAI and cutting-edge algorithmic planning and data solutions enables PostNL to shape, not just follow, e-commerce trends. With forward-thinking applications already in use, Kamsteeg will show how anticipating receiver needs and empowering customers with intelligent, seamless delivery and smart digital solutions makes PostNL a true enabler of growth and loyalty in an increasingly demanding market.

#2 Joint presentation by La Poste and Notino | From Checkout to Doorsteps

Speakers: Sanae Murschel, managing director of international sales at Colissimo / La Poste Group; Aleksandar Alačkov, transportation director, Notino

The presentation will cover:

  • Creating beauty and value with outstanding customer experience
  • Driving growth and retention for brands and e-commerce through last-mile experience excellence: The last mile partner is often the only physical interaction between the brand and the customer, and it plays a pivotal role in shaping perception, satisfaction and repeat purchase behavior.
  • Having the right last-mile partner and understanding customers’ expectations contribute to reducing CAC, driving brand awareness and increasing market share.

#3 Customer expectations vs operational reality

Speaker: Kishan Mishra, last and first mile – strategy and transformation, IKEA

Customers that have ordered something online want clarity about what they ordered and in how many boxes the order will be delivered (for example, in the case of furniture, which often involves various pieces). Today, even the delivery drivers can’t say which parts of the order they have or don’t have. How can sellers and delivery companies create a unique customer experience that provides customers with transparency, flexibility and control?

Book now to benefit from early-bird and group bookings discounts – ending next month.

Exhibition

Parcel+Post Expo, now in its 28th year, continues to host leading exhibitors showcasing the latest industry technologies and solutions, with names this year including Vanderlande, Fives and EAE Solutions, to name only a few! View the exhibitor list here.

This year, we also have some brand-new exhibitors joining us, including Addverb Technologies, BatteryCheck, Glow Technology, Innovative Robot Delivery and Lenze – as well as many more!

The exhibition will enable visitors to discover the latest technologies and solutions, and the Leadership Conference will give them the opportunity to uncover the future direction of the industry – from thought leaders.

Amsterdam

One of the many benefits of attending events is enjoying the surroundings – and Amsterdam has some special ones! From its beautiful architecture to its fantastic restaurants, Amsterdam has a lot to offer Parcel+Post Expo visitors.

Some restaurant recommendations from the Parcel+Post Expo team:

– KAIA Contemporary Greek, close to the venue.
– DenC, Dik & Cunningham, offering a stunning atmosphere and delicious French cuisine in a cosy setting.
– The restaurant at the Apollo Hotel Amsterdam, with a canal-side location.

If any of these restaurants appeal, we recommend you make a reservation as they tend to get busy.

We look forward to welcoming you to Amsterdam this October! If you have any questions, please email the team on: parcelandpost@closerstillmedia.com
