JD.com has launched JoyExpress, a dedicated express delivery service in Europe that will initially support its new Joybuy online retail platform.
JoyExpress, part of Jingdong Logistics, is being introduced in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands and France. The service will provide same-day and next-day delivery in major cities and will support the rollout of Joybuy, which is currently in the beta testing phase prior to its March 2026 launch.
The company said the network will operate from more than 60 warehouses and depots across Europe and will continue to expand as Joybuy enters additional cities. The fleet will include trucks, vans and electric bicycles, and will also offer delivery and installation services for large home appliances in major urban areas.
According to JD.com, JoyExpress integrates warehousing, transportation, cold-chain services and end-to-end supply chain management supported by automation and data-driven operations.
“JoyExpress offers Europe a new delivery and logistics choice,” said Axel Eggenwirth, senior director, last mile Europe at Jingdong Logistics. “We look forward to bringing our industry-leading technology and capabilities to the market and consumers across France, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK, while enhancing our supply chain logistics capabilities in sectors such as electronics, home appliances, fast-moving consumer goods and groceries.
“With JoyExpress, Joybuy customers will have access to a cutting-edge, world-class fulfillment team for all their delivery needs. JoyExpress will help deliver Joybuy’s seamless, trusted, and joyful shopping experience to customers in Europe.”
JD.com said the service will initially focus on supporting Joybuy orders but may later provide delivery services to other business partners as its European operations expand.
