DHL Supply Chain has entered into an agreement to acquire Open Market, a logistics and transportation operator in Colombia.
The acquisition expands DHL’s presence in the region and supports the group’s strategy of growing in the healthcare and logistics sectors by 2030.

“By expanding our presence here and integrating Open Market’s expertise – particularly in managing complex supply chains for pharmaceuticals, medical products and personal care – we further advance our global DHL Health Logistics capabilities and reinforce our commitment to supporting customers in highly regulated and operationally demanding sectors.”
DHL will integrate Open Market’s network of 21 warehouses (with 120,000m²) of total area, 13 cross-docking platforms and fleet of vehicles, and 4,100 employees into its operations.
Agustín Croche, CEO Latin America of DHL Supply Chain, said the acquisition will strengthen DHL’s logistics solutions portfolio by adding Open Market’s capabilities in transportation, packaging and temperature-controlled operations.
The announcement follows the recent expansion of DHL’s Constellation Distribution Center logistics hub in Cota, near Bogotá.
