Customers at Motor Fuel Group petrol stations will now be able to send parcels via Royal Mail parcel lockers thanks to the roll out at 500 locations across the UK.
The lockers, which will also soon provide collection options, will feature label printing, enabling customers to pay for postage online and print the label by scanning a QR code at the locker or request a QR code if they are returning a purchase.
Anna Malley, director of partnerships and acquisitions at Royal Mail, said, “Our partnership with Motor Fuel Group will make Royal Mail’s network even more accessible for our customers. We are working hard to give customers as many options as possible for sending, returning and collecting parcels, on top of delivering and collecting from every address in the UK.”
Royal Mail now has more than 23,500 locations where customers can drop off and collect parcels, including 1,900 lockers, 7,800 Collect+ stores, 11,500 Post Office branches, 1,200 Royal Mail Customer Service Points and 1,200 parcel postboxes.
