Lithuanian Post’s parcel locker delivery network, LP Express, handled more than three million parcels between the beginning of November and December 31, 2025 – a third more than during the same period in 2024.
According to the post, more than 1.1 million parcels were delivered to parcel lockers in Latvia and Estonia during the peak period – four times more than in 2024 – and the company handled a total 21 million parcels through its locker networks in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia last year.
“These figures are not only records, but also clear proof of customer trust,” said Kastytis Valantinas, director general of Lithuanian Post. “The preparatory work carried out in advance helped us to successfully manage the peak period – even before the holidays, we expanded the LP Express network in Lithuania with more than 70 new parcel lockers and installed about 10,000 additional boxes.
“We also strengthened our logistics capabilities, attracted additional specialists and increased transport volumes so that shipments would reach customers as smoothly as possible. We are grateful to everyone who chose our services during the holiday period.”
Network expansion
In Latvia and Estonia, preparations for the peak period included the addition of 120 new parcel machines and expansion of 35 existing ones. LP Express will invest €4.3m (US$5.05m) in expanding its network further until the end of 2028, with 81 new lockers expected in smaller Lithuanian towns in 2026 alone.
