LockerQuest has partnered with Shift Collect to bring its multi-retailer parcel lockers to sites across the UK, including Govia Thameslink Railway train stations, NCP parking locations and Staines Rugby Club, with additional installations planned in the coming months.
Shift Collect’s parcel lockers are designed to accommodate large and bulky items to provide convenient collection points for furniture, home improvement products and other large items.
James Moore, CEO at Shift Platform, the company behind Shift Collect, commented, “Working with LockerQuest has enabled us to expand our network into prime locations that serve thousands of consumers daily. Their expertise in site selection and management has been invaluable in identifying the optimal locations for our large item parcel lockers.
“This partnership supports our mission to make collecting oversized purchases more convenient and accessible, giving customers complete control over when they collect their items.”
LockerQuest CEO Jonathan White added, “Our partnership with Shift Collect represents an exciting development in the large delivery solutions space. Shift’s specialized parcel lockers for bulky items address a real consumer pain point – the inconvenience of waiting at home for delivery of items including furniture and other bulky items.
“The installation of these lockers at locations like train stations, car parks and sporting venues ensure maximum convenience for consumers who can collect their purchases close to where they live or go.
“This partnership demonstrated our commitment to providing innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of both our space partners and retailers who deal with larger items that traditional lockers cannot accommodate.”
