CEVA Logistics opens automated fashion hub in Toledo, Spain.

CEVA Logistics has begun operations at a 75,000m² logistics facility in Toledo, Spain, which the company says is one of the largest specialized fashion and apparel distribution hubs in the Iberian Peninsula.

Situated on the Santa María Benquerencia Industrial Estate, the site has been operational under CEVA Logistics since March 2026. According to CEVA, the facility can process more than 120 million garments per year and serves both business-to-business retail networks and e-commerce operations.

The company said 60% of order picking at the site is currently automated. The facility includes a 10,000m² storage module with pallet racking capacity exceeding 60,000 pallets, managed with using autonomous mobile robots (AMRs).

CEVA said the site employs around 400 permanent logistics staff, with capacity to scale up to 1,000 direct jobs during peak periods and seasonal sales campaigns.

Puerto Ahedo, contract logistics leader, Spain, CEVA Logistics, said, “Our distribution center in Toledo not only demonstrates our ability to manage massive volumes with maximum precision but also positions CEVA as a leader in the future of logistics. We have successfully integrated quality job creation with cutting-edge robotics and automation and sustainable operations, setting a new benchmark in the industry.”

The site is LEED certified and features a rooftop solar installation. CEVA said the silo-mounted photovoltaic system is projected to generate 500,000kWh annually once fully operational, intended for 100% on-site self-consumption to help power the facility’s automated systems and robotics fleet.
