There are just two weeks to go until the doors open to Parcel+Post Expo, the world’s biggest parcel industry event.

Taking place at RAI Amsterdam on October 22-24, Parcel+Post Expo will welcome more than 250 international exhibitors showcasing the latest, most innovative technologies ranging from sortation systems and robotics to planning software and last-mile delivery vehicles.

Tried-and-tested features will once again be incorporated into the three-day event, including the UPU’s World Leaders Forum on Days 1 and 2, with the theme of ‘Smart and collaborative solutions to enhance customer trust’; the Parcel+Post Expo Innovation Forum, which will feature presentations from leading technology providers and innovators showcasing the latest technologies and solutions within the industry; the PIP Startup Innovation Award Competition and the Parcel and Postal Technology International Awards on Day 1; and the connect2posts (c2p) event on Day 3.

This year sees the launch of The Hub – Logistics for E-Commerce Summit, which will unite all major industry stakeholders on an international stage to explore the wealth of opportunities available in e-commerce. Taking place during Parcel+Post Expo, The Hub will offer valuable insights through a series of thought-provoking discussions, cutting-edge presentations, networking meetings and much more!

With its high speed and wide sorting range, the linear crossbelt sorter is popular in the market. At Parcel+Post Expo, Simba will show its innovative solution of infeeding from the sorter side, which enables system capacity to break through the bottleneck. It will also demonstrate an upgrade to its LS100 series with a 300mm pitch linear sorter, synchronized linear motor drive and infrared wireless communication.

Isitec International will showcase a range of innovations at this year’s expo, including its wheel sorter and AGV pallet truck. Its latest innovation, the WS-400 ZS, is an advanced Z sorting system designed for efficient and accurate handling of items and seamless integration with existing systems through its customizable module design. Core components of the Z Sorter include a high-resolution barcode-scanning camera; a static volumetric camera; a high-precision dimensioning, weighing and scanning (DWS) unit; a powerful industrial PC; and multiple sorting modules.

Keba will present its new parcel locker system at the expo. Designed for the future of locker networks, the Loxmate modular system combines user-friendliness, security and sustainability to ensure simple operation. With Loxmate, courier services and logistical postal services benefit from high flexibility and low operational costs. The combination of innovative software with a self-sustaining system, compliant with the European Accessibility Act, creates a flexible option.

Leonardo Automation will demonstrate its ability to revolutionize the efficiency and reliability of e-commerce logistics hubs on a global scale. Its advanced solutions aim to streamline handling processes, optimize throughput and minimize delays and errors. The Leonardo team is eager to share its expertise and engage with fellow industry professionals and experts to explore the latest innovations and trends in the logistics sector.
