The global parcel delivery logistics market is projected to reach US$822.12bn by 2030, growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 7.3%, according to a new report from The Business Research Company.
The report attributes the projected growth to increased use of autonomous delivery vehicles, a stronger emphasis on sustainable delivery fleets, the expansion of same-day delivery services, and growing adoption of AI-driven logistics platforms. It also points to rising investment in smart logistics networks, automated sorting and routing systems, real-time parcel tracking, last-mile delivery optimization, and cross-border e-commerce logistics as key trends shaping the market.
According to the report, the market grew from US$576.79bn in 2025 to US$620.11bn in 2026, a CAGR of 7.5%. The report attributes this historic growth to the expansion of e-commerce platforms, growth in urban parcel volumes, rising consumer demand for fast delivery, increased investment in logistics infrastructure, and wider adoption of courier service models.
The report names Alibaba Group, DHL Group, United Parcel Service, FedEx Corporation, the United States Postal Service, SF Express, Royal Mail, General Logistics Systems, Canada Post, PostNL, Ninja Van, DTDC Express, Correos, Aramex, Ekart Logistics, Delhivery, Blue Dart Express, Lalamove, Shiprocket and J&T Global Express among the market’s leading companies.
The report also cites InPost’s April 2025 acquisition of UK parcel delivery firm Yodel, for an undisclosed sum, as a notable strategic move to combine InPost’s out-of-home delivery network with Yodel’s home delivery services as part of InPost’s ambition to become an end-to-end logistics provider across Europe.
Also highlighted in the report is a shift toward ultra-fast delivery services, including sub-two-hour delivery windows. It cites Delhivery’s January 2025 launch of a Rapid Commerce service for direct-to-consumer brands, retailers and e-commerce platforms in Bengaluru, India, which uses a network of shared in-city Rapid Stores to shorten delivery times.
