Companies that send parcels with Hermes can now add personalized videos to customers using Hermes Play.
Created in the Hermes Innovation Lab, Hermes Play allows senders to pre-record a personal message, which is then uploaded via the Hermes Send app. A 2D barcode is added to the parcel label, which can be scanned to enable the customer to watch the video on a phone or tablet.
The service is free of charge for a limited time and available to anyone using the Hermes app. It will be rolled out later this year to retail customers, who will be able to personalize their service with videos including promotions or instructions for products.
