Austrian Post has successfully concluded its pay deal negotiation with the Postal and Telecommunications Workers’ Union (GPF), agreeing a 2.8% increase for all employees, including apprentices, from July 1, 2025.
Any additional fees and allowances will also be increased by 2.8%, and the daily and overnight allowances and the mileage allowance for salaried employees will be adjusted to the rates applicable to civil servants from July 1, 2025.
For employees who are subject to the 2009 collective agreement, Part 2, and who work in the field, the tax-free daily allowance will also be increased from the current €26.16 (US$29.73) to €29 (US$32.96) per calendar day from January 1, 2026.
These increases will apply until June 30, 2026, subject to the approval of the Supervisory Board of Österreichische Post AG and the GPF.
