Dutch postal operator PostNL has opened its latest Parcel Point pick-up and drop-off station at a Jumbo supermarket in Rotterdam, marking the post’s 3,000th location in the Netherlands.

Thanks to collaboration between PostNL and partners such as Jumbo, customers are finding it more convenient than ever to pick up and drop off their parcels at a time and place that is convenient for them. PostNL post offices and Parcel Points can be found at various locations, including supermarkets, convenience shops, bookshops, and DIY and garden centers. For retailers, the collaboration with PostNL brings more visitors, which in turn helps them to profit from the growth of e-commerce.

Barry Husman, retail director, PostNL, said, “PostNL continues to work on building a dense network of locations for mail and parcels. Thanks to the collaboration with partners such as Jumbo, we’ve just opened the 3,000th location, enabling us to offer the largest national network by far. This is how we respond to the changing market and stay close to our customers.”
