Austrian Post has introduced a new monthly subscription model for its AllesPost parcel forwarding service, aiming to make parcel reception more flexible ahead of the peak Christmas delivery season.
The service, first launched in 2019, enables online shoppers to receive all their parcels through Austrian Post, regardless of which carrier was originally used for delivery. Users are assigned a unique AllesPost address at a postal logistics center, where packages from other courier services are redirected and then delivered by Austrian Post – typically the next business day.
As of November, AllesPost is available through a monthly subscription that can be canceled at any time. Two options are currently offered:
- AllesPost Standard: €2.90 (US$3.35) for up to five parcels per month.
- AllesPost Premium: €5.90 (US$6.81) for up to 15 parcels per month.
Only parcels not already handled by Austrian Post are counted toward the monthly allowance.
According to AllesPost, more than 200,000 parcels were processed via AllesPost in 2023, with volumes continuing to grow. The company says the new subscription format is designed to simplify parcel management for consumers during busy delivery periods such as Christmas.
Users can receive parcels through AllesPost’s existing network of delivery options, including home delivery, post offices, postal partners, Hermes ParcelShops, 24/7 lockers, or delivery to a designated safe place. Deliveries can also be redirected via the Post app.
AllesPost said the change reflects the growing demand for flexible and predictable delivery options as e-commerce volumes rise across Europe.
