Poczta Polska has signed an agreement with Cainiao Network that will speed up the delivery of orders placed on the AliExpress global sales platform by Polish customers.

Under the new agreement, customers ordering goods from China will receive the package within 15 days of placing an order. Poczta Polska will ensure that the parcel will reach the customer’s door within two days of its arrival Poland, with deliveries made via the Pocztex courier service.

“We are very pleased with the signing of the agreement with Cainiao. It means strengthening cooperation between us. I would like to emphasize that one of the pillars of Poczta Polska’s new strategy is to increase its share in the CEP market, especially in the cross-border market. In line with the adopted assumptions, our goal by 2024 is to double the company’s revenues from courier services, especially taking into account the e-commerce sector. The development of cooperation with key partners in this market, such as the AliExpress platform or Cainiao Network, is one of the most important activities carried out by Poczta Polska in this area of business activity,” said Tomasz Zdzikot, president of the management board of Poczta Polska.

Poczta Polska has been cooperating with Cainiao since 2018, providing professional services for Polish AliExpress customers. The new agreement has been signed by both companies for 2021/2022. Cooperation with the Alibaba Group is in line with the strategic plans of Poczta Polska and will be developed in the future.
