The Dash Group has expanded its operations in the UK South West with the opening of a new, larger Dash Express site in Cullompton, following continued growth in the business and among its local SME customers. Dash Express, a division of The Dash Group and part of The APC delivery network, has also taken over APC’s North Devon location, strengthening its regional network and achieving full coverage across the region.
The new 1,021m2 Cullompton facility, located 23km from Exeter, will operate as Dash Express’s new ‘Exeter’ depot. The site doubles the company’s previous capacity and provides improved access to the M5 corridor, enabling faster and more efficient deliveries for businesses across Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Dorset. Consolidating operations previously run across Exeter and North Devon will also enhance operational efficiency and support improved service levels for SMEs across the region.

Dash Express, already a major employer in the region with more than 170 staff, will base a team of over 35 people at the new location. Mike Read has been appointed depot general manager for the Exeter operation, having transferred from Dash Express’ Plymouth site. His experience will support the company’s continued development in what it sees as a key regional growth area.
