Jersey Post has launched a new digital business, Vaiie, focusing on internal and external communications in Guernsey. The business will offer a range of services from customer communication management platforms and digital transformation software, to communications campaign management tools.

Lee Bosio, director of Vaiie, said that the new company will be providing smart solutions for local businesses: “Digital technology is revolutionizing the ways businesses work and our range of services enables local companies to take advantage of the latest solutions in order to work smarter.

“Digital services and e-commerce are increasingly common, but remain an untapped resource for many businesses in Guernsey. We’re providing new ways for businesses to reach their customers and are going to work with them to devise bespoke campaigns and solutions.”

Vaiie is backed by the collective experience of Jersey Post Digital and the Guernsey-based development team of pan-island communications and digital agency TPA, enabling it to offer a full-service solution that includes identifying digital opportunities and building the platforms to deliver these services for the benefit of businesses.

The digital company offers services including scanning, encrypted document storage and digital signatures.

Business development manager Matthew Bain will manage the initial growth of Vaiie in Guernsey with the team at TPA. “The first part of my job is to engage with local businesses and find out what they want,” said Bain. “Every business is different, but having the agility of a startup backed by nearly 20 years of experience in the communications industry will enable us to serve businesses of all sizes and requirements.

“Once we have established a good base we have a real aspiration to grow the business in Guernsey and create jobs. We’re ambitious and we know that there is appetite for digital services and new solutions to customer communications.”
