Evri Group has announced that it has agreed to acquire Cross Border Connect (CBC), a US-based logistics enablement provider specializing in delivery and returns. Financial terms have not been disclosed.
Based in Boca Raton, Florida, CBC operates a cross-border logistics enablement platform for international merchants entering the US market. According to the release, it has six US ports of entry, end-to-end customs clearance capabilities and a network of logistics partners, which it uses to route parcels based on cost, transit time and service requirements.
Evri said the acquisition will support its ability to serve customers moving parcels between the UK, Europe and the US, particularly on the UK-US trade lane. It will also expand the solutions available to retailers, marketplaces and logistics partners trading across borders.
CBC co-founder and CEO Chris Lentjes will continue to lead the business.
David Saenz, chief commercial officer at Evri Group, said, “Cross Border Connect brings deep expertise in the US market, strong carrier relationships and innovative technology that enables customers to improve cross-border delivery speed and achieve cost reductions of up to 30%. Combined with CBC’s established network, integrated customs capabilities and Evri’s best-in-class air freight rates, customers will have even greater flexibility to make smarter shipping decisions and optimize their international delivery operations.”
Lentjes said, “We built CBC to make cross-border delivery easier to manage, giving customers greater control over how their parcels reach consumers. Joining Evri will give us the scale and backing to take that further, expand our capabilities and support more customers. I’m excited to continue leading CBC as we bring together our US expertise and Evri’s international ambitions.”
The deal follows Evri’s acquisition of Coll-8 in 2025. Evri said the combination of Coll-8’s customs clearance expertise and CBC’s US logistics and technology capabilities creates a more comprehensive cross-border offering.
