Consumer goods giant Procter & Gamble (P&G) has named Cainiao its global strategic warehouse automation partner, strengthening the two companies’ decade-long collaboration.
Under the partnership, Cainiao is rolling out warehouse automation upgrade projects for P&G across multiple regions, including North America, Europe and Asia. The Guangzhou automation project has already been delivered and put into operation, while the Canada automation project is now entering the on-site construction phase.
The two companies have also reached a preliminary agreement on warehouse supply chain operations cooperation in Europe, North America and other regions.
“Over the past decade, P&G has been more than a customer – it has been a partner that helped us broaden our global perspective and deepen our understanding of cross-border operations,” said Huang Zhong, vice president of Cainiao and general manager of its strategy department. “That experience has enabled us to move faster and more confidently as we expand internationally. We look forward to building on this partnership and creating more value together.”
