CEVA Logistics, the third-party logistics specialist, has signed a new contract with Iveco Group to operate a new 20,000m2 distribution center in Pouso Alegre, Brazil.
Iveco, the transportation vehicle manufacturer, has invested BRL 93 million (US$17.3m) in the development of the new Parts Distribution Center to support the growth of its brands in the Latin America region and to enhance speed and efficiency in customer supply.
The construction of the new unit began in June and is scheduled to be completed in April 2026. This will replace the current operation in Sorocaba, São Paulo, which has reached maximum capacity.
CEVA Logistics will be responsible for managing the site, including the logistics infrastructure, shipping and handling of Iveco Group’s materials.
The warehouse will utilize a wireless warehouse management system (WMS), enabling traceability and real-time control of movements – intended to increase speed, efficiency and accuracy in deliveries. It has been designed with future expansion in mind.
CEVA Logistics has been expanding it warehousing operations in Brazil, reportedly expanding its warehouse capacity by 150,000m2 in the past 12 months to reach a total of 300,000m2. It supports sectors such as e-commerce, technology, automotive, beauty and healthcare in the country.
