UPS electrifies its London delivery fleet


UK Power Network Services and UPS have implemented new smart electric vehicle charging systems to power the postal operator’s central London delivery fleet of electric vans. According to the companies, it is a world first in terms of the deployment of a combination of smart grid and energy storage systems in a live operation at this scale, and has enabled UPS to electrify its full fleet of 170 vehicles and improve air quality across London.
