Fiat Professional wins two awards from What Van?

Fiat Professional has been recognized by renowned British magazine What Van? for two of its models including Doblò Cargo, which won the Light Van of the Year title for the second year running, and its Fiorino model, which prevailed in the Small Van of the Year category.

The awards took place at The Brewery in London on December 13, 2016. The new Fiat Professional Fullback model was also voted Pick-up of the Year 2017 by French publication 4×4 Magazine (Editions Larivière).

Fiat Professional has more than 100 years of experience in the world of commercial vehicles, during which time the brand has evolved to tackle crucial industry challenges with its determination to open new roads into the global market. Entirely dedicated to the light transport sector, Fiat Professional creates commercial vehicles for business professionals with innovative and targeted designs across an increasingly extensive range. In 2016, Fiat Professional introduced its ‘full line’ range, which covers all light transportation segments.

Completely refreshed in just two years, the Fiat Professional line-up offers a complete choice of body types, loading capacities and volume, wheelbases, height and width, highly-efficient engines, and various fuel options (petrol, diesel, LPG and methane). The brand also focuses on specialties such as courier dedicated versions and specific configurations for postal services.

Fiat Professional is the only commercial vehicle brand to have a team entirely dedicated to this business area and supports customers with professional mobility solutions for work and leisure.

The New Fiorino has evolved from the original model, which invented the small van segment, and of which more than 370,000 have been sold since its launch in 2007. With a refreshed design, inside and out, the new Fiat Professional is perfect for use in cities as it is agile in traffic and easy to park. Despite this, it has a remarkable loading capacity of up to 2.8m³ and can carry up to 660kg of payload. Furthermore, it is top-in-class in terms of performance, low running costs, comfort and functionality.

The engine line-up – all Euro 6 – features two turbo diesel 1.3 MultiJet2 engines with 80 and 95hp, a 1.4-liter aspirated petrol Fire with 77hp and the 1.4-liter bi-fuel petrol and methane Natural Power with 70hp, a solution that only the new Fiorino has in the small van segment. The range counts two configurations (Cargo and Combi), three trim levels (Base, SX and Adventure), and three engine versions (petrol, petrol/methane and diesel).

The Doblò Cargo is in its fourth generation and has been chosen by more than 1.6 million customers since 2000. The new model is among the best in its class in terms of performance, functional characteristics, loading capacity and cost-effective running. These winning features make it a reliable, distinctive vehicle with more value for the customer.

The range counts four body types (Cargo, Combi, Chassis Cab with flatbed, and Workup), various heights, lengths and wheelbases, in addition to a full range of Euro 6 diesel, petrol and petrol/methane engines. It also includes versions and solutions ranging from vans to special vehicles, and those converted for specific uses. Noteworthy particularities include loading capacity (up to 5.4m³) and payload (up to one ton), which are at the top of the category, in addition to exclusive Bi-link suspensions, the innovative Uconnect 5in Nav LIVE touchscreen multimedia system and the most advanced electronic stability control devices, such as ABS with EBD, ESC complete with ASR, HBA and Hill Holder. Traction+ is available on demand.
