Evri has announced an extension to its partnership with shipping platform Parcel2Go. The renewed agreement aims to build on the strategic relationship between the two companies which has focused on providing affordable delivery services for consumers and businesses.
Parcel2Go is expanding its drop-off offering with a new Shop2Shop and locker service for Evri which, for the first time, will enable consumers and businesses accessing Evri’s services through the platform to have their parcels delivered to their nearest ParcelShop or locker. This offering comes in addition to Evri’s existing courier collection service through the shipping platform.
Claire Phelan, head of e-commerce partnerships at Evri, said, “We’re thrilled to extend our partnership with Parcel2Go, which has seen us collaborating for more than 15 years, and reflects both the strength of what we’ve built together and our shared confidence in what lies ahead.
“During that time, we’ve worked together to ensure greater choice, value and reliability for both consumers and businesses, and with the launch of Parcel2Go’s new drop-off service, as well as a joint focus on innovation and international growth, this next chapter will continue to build on this, as we explore significant growth opportunities to deliver even more for consumers in the UK and beyond.”
Ashley Taylor, director of commercial at Parcel2Go, added, “Providing consumers and businesses with greater choice and flexibility in delivery has always been a priority for us. The addition of our new shop-to-shop service builds on that focus, and we’re looking forward to continuing to work closely with Evri as we develop the partnership and explore future opportunities in the UK and beyond.”
