Escher research highlights changing priorities of postal organizations

In July and August 2017, software supplier Escher Group conducted an online survey across 25 countries to gain key insights into the current and future landscape of the postal industry.

The results highlighted key shifts in the priorities of posts, including the fact that 59% of postal operators foresee a growth in their physical presence; 77% of mail carriers are now equipped with a mobile device; 95% of posts either offer or plan to deliver a customer app; 89% of respondents currently offer or plan to offer digital mail products; 14% of posts have a successful loyalty program; and 39% plan to implement a loyalty scheme.
