Poczta Polska, Poland’s national postal operator, is modernizing its logistics infrastructure by installing new roller conveyors at courier facilities to support automated sorting.
The conveyors can sort approximately 2,000 parcels per hour, with a modular design that enables configurations to be adapted to each facility’s specific requirements. The company said the upgrade is intended to make sorting more organized and speed up the movement of parcels to their designated distribution zones.
The new equipment has already been deployed at Poczta Polska sorting centers in Pruszcz Gdański, Niepołomice, Opole, Kalisz, Zielona Góra, Radom and Częstochowa, with further rollouts planned for this autumn.
The investment forms part of a broader infrastructure development program aimed at increasing logistics throughput and aligning operational capacity with growing demand from the e-commerce and courier sectors.
Poczta Polska said automating parcel transportation between workstations reduces the need for manual handling, improves parcel flow within sorting zones and minimizes the risk of bottlenecks, freeing employees to focus on tasks requiring greater engagement and quality control.
The company also cited improvements to workplace ergonomics and safety, saying reduced physical strain from manual handling and better organization of operational space will improve working conditions for logistics teams.
The rollout aligns with Poczta Polska’s long-term strategy to modernize its logistics infrastructure while improving process efficiency, resource use and shipment-handling standards.
