Logistics provider GXO Logistics is running industry conferences, workshops, site visits and classes in partnership with non-profit association Polish Supply Management Leaders and non-profit organization Czech Logistics Association.

The company is also pursuing a similar agreement with guild association Arilog in Romania. The partnerships are expected to enhance GXO’s industry presence in Poland, the Czech Republic and Romania. At these events, the company advises attendees on a wide range of logistics services, including warehousing, order preparation, e-fulfillment, returns management, temperature-controlled logistics and co-packing, and the career opportunities at GXO for recent graduates and experienced professionals. The classes also cover automated solutions for e-commerce, fashion, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), food and beverage and retail industries.

Jean Luc Bessade, managing director at GXO for Central and Eastern Europe, said, “These partnerships are a tremendous opportunity for us to share our logistics expertise and to promote logistics best practices. Our logistics experts are exchanging views, experiences and knowledge in logistics and supply chain management with other experts in those fields, so we’re delighted to be part of this very productive and mutually beneficial relationship.”

Andrzej Zawistowski, a member of the Polish Supply Management Leaders board, said, “We welcome GXO to our association as a supporting member, bringing its international perspective and know-how gained from working with clients representing major industries. Our mission is to build a center of supply chain competence in Poland on a European scale, and we believe that GXO will make a significant contribution to strengthening our environment and increasing interest in logistics.”

Václav Cempírek, president of the Czech Logistics Association, said, “For almost 30 years, our main mission has been to create and animate the platform to focus on the most important logistics issues and their application in the business reality. We believe that GXO will make an important contribution to strengthening our network and developing an interest in logistics.”
