DX has opened a new distribution center in Kettering, UK, as part of its ongoing investment program to expand capacity and support growth across its operations.
The facility, situated on a 28,000m2 site at Kettering Venture Park, will support the company’s fulfillment, freight and last-mile services, increasing capacity in the East Midlands and strengthening the company’s national distribution network.
The site comprises an 8,000m2 building, including 7,400m2 of warehouse space, along with office space. It features seven dock-level doors and six level-access doors. Its location between the M1 and A1(M) motorways is intended to provide efficient regional and national connectivity.
DX said the site integrates its three core service areas. Its fulfillment operation provides warehousing, contract logistics and value-added services, supporting storage, order preparation and dispatch. Distribution is then handled through DX Freight and DX Final Mile, enabling consignments of varying size and format to be delivered to residential and commercial customers.
The company said combining these services at a single location allows it to offer more flexible and integrated logistics solutions tailored to customer requirements.
Ian Truesdale, CEO of DX Group, said, “We have made a confident start to 2026 with the acquisition of HBC Logistics and the launch of a strategic partnership with Rhenus Logistics, which is now well underway. The opening of this new distribution center in Kettering continues that momentum and reflects the pace at which we are expanding and investing in our operational footprint.
“As DX continues to evolve, investments like this ensure we have the appropriate infrastructure and operational expertise in place to support our customers and the next stage of business growth.”
