Portugal’s smart locker provider Bloq.it has secured one of the country’s largest Series B rounds of funding, netting €28m (US$31.5m) in investment that will be used to accelerate team expansion and launch operations in new European markets, as well as for merger and acquisition plans.
With over 50 million shipments processed through its systems every year, Bloq.it is actively driving consumer demand for reliable and convenient e-commerce deliveries. According to Bloq.it, the company has achieved 73,083% accumulated revenue growth since 2021 thanks to its tech-first mindset and software stack approach to parcel logistics and smart lockers, ambitious expansion across 10+ markets, and strategic partnerships with major e-commerce logistics players like GLS, DHL eCommerce and Vinted Go.
Miha Jagodic, CEO of Bloq.it, commented, “Our core goal remains to change the parcel delivery status quo. We’re accelerating a new standard for delivery: one that’s efficient, low-impact and accessible to every logistics player in Europe.”
“Bloq.it is at the core of the transition to out-of-home delivery all across Europe — despite our growth so far, there’s a clear feeling that we’re just getting started,” added João Lopes, COO and CRO of Bloq.it.
