Amazon and MyFlexBox have entered a strategic cooperation that will integrate all MyFlexBox smart lockers in Germany into Amazon’s delivery infrastructure.
Under the partnership, which was announced on July 1, 2026 in Munich, Amazon will be able to deliver directly to all MyFlexBox locations across Germany, making MyFlexBox one of the first open smart locker networks of this scale to be directly accessible for Amazon deliveries in Europe.
MyFlexBox locations will be integrated into Amazon’s checkout process and appear as a delivery option, enabling packages to be delivered to centrally located smart lockers accessible 24/7. The companies said the integration is designed to give customers greater efficiency and flexibility in choosing where to collect parcels.
MyFlexBox operates a carrier-neutral smart locker network available to multiple logistics and retail companies simultaneously; the Amazon partnership extends that model to an additional e-commerce player. The companies said the collaboration reinforces their aim to provide neutral last-mile infrastructure across Europe, with locker locations spanning retail sites, gas stations, residential neighborhoods, mobility hubs and corporate sites.
Jonathan Grothaus, CEO and founder of MyFlexBox, said, “The fact that Amazon uses MyFlexBox in Germany proves the quality and scale of our MyFlexBox network. This is a strong signal for the future of parcel logistics. Anyone wanting to make the last mile more efficient needs open, shared infrastructure. That is exactly what MyFlexBox stands for.”
Viraj Chatterjee, vice president of delivery networks and technology at Amazon, said, “We are continuously working to make the shopping experience even more convenient, flexible and reliable for our customers – from click to delivery. The integration of MyFlexBox expands our collection options with a growing network. In one go, we are creating additional round-the-clock collection points right in the neighborhood, while jointly making the last mile even more efficient.”
Consolidating deliveries at central smart lockers is intended to make delivery processes more predictable, reduce repeated delivery attempts and enable last-mile routes to be better structured.
