POST-EXPO: Prime Vision to present latest IoT-based tracking tags

LinkedIn +

Knowing the exact location of containers or roll cages at any given time provides powerful insight for postal operators. This data generates a perfect base for a decision-support system, backing other adjacent solutions within the same ecosystem and increasing efficiency. Every second of the day, the knowledge of the whereabouts of containers and therefore parcels can provide certainty, which can in turn be monetized.

Together with solution partner TWTG, an R&D firm specializing in IoT applications, Prime Vision will demonstrate its joint Asset Tracking system at Post-Expo 2018, taking place in Hamburg, Germany, on October 8-11.

In contrast to cumbersome RFID technologies, the Prime Vision demonstration will outline how containers and roll cages can be tracked with intelligent tags that provide specific information on location and also on the status of the asset.

It is even possible to relay other datapoints such as temperature. It is this innovation that enables active tag solutions to unlock new and previously hidden business cases.

Prime Vision invites interested parties to visit booth B3.210 to discuss the possibilities for their organization.
