Innovation labs
Based on attendee feedback, Parcel+Post Expo is bringing some exciting new features onto the show floor this year, in the form of its Innovation Labs.
Delivering insight at every stage, these Innovation Labs will bring workshops and ‘meet the expert’ panels (and more) to the show floor – and they are all free to attend!
Anticipated highlights include a workshop from Mattia Crespi, CEO at Qbit, on ‘From Gen AI to Agentic AI: navigating the next frontier in intelligent automation in the AI Parcel Lab, 2pm-4:30pm on October 21. The first part of the workshop will offer a structured introduction to today’s AI capabilities, their practical applications and emerging challenges – from infrastructure to ethics.
The second half will shift to an interactive mode. Through a guided exercise of scenario building, participants will explore AI use cases relevant to the postal/parcel sector, identify adoption barriers and develop strategic responses.
Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of how to translate AI potential into actionable innovation within their organizations.
On October 22, from 2pm-3pm in the Locker Room, David Saenz, chief commercial officer at Evri and Gary Winter, VP of global strategic initiatives at Quadient, will explore why Out-of-home is changing – how carriers can lead with locker infrastructure.
In this session, Saenz and Winter will explore how carriers are futureproofing their networks with smart locker solutions that enable open access, multi-carrier use, returns and customer-to-customer (C2C) exchanges. Saenz share real-world insights into Evri’s OOH strategy and the company’s journey to implementing a unique mix of private and shared locker networks to meet evolving consumer expectations and new use cases.
Elsewhere, in the Startup & Innovation Zone on October 23, between 10am and 11am, speakers will explore the topic Navigating the startup rollercoaster: embracing the highs and surviving the lows.
Speakers will include Jorn Spiertz, co-founder and COO at Shiptimize; Myriam Hirsch, sales director Europe at Glow Technology; and Martin Pecar, founder at OmniOpti.
This session brings together seasoned and emerging founders to share their raw, unfiltered experiences of building a startup.
