Parcel and Postal Technology International has unveiled the shortlist for this year’s awards, with the winners to be announced at Parcel+Post Expo in London on September 23, 2026.

There were over 80 outstanding nominations for this year’s awards, from both industry leaders and new market entrants, highlighting the sector’s continued ingenuity and appetite for innovation.

Finalists cover a range of solutions, from omnichannel retail initiatives, open locker network developments and AI-driven last-mile delivery systems to fleet electrification programs, sustainable sorting solutions and e-commerce optimization platforms.

EAE Solutions will deliver a turn-key sorting solution to Swiss Post‘s new sorting center in Urdorf, Switzerland, that will help the operator boost its network expansion and support its long-term growth and sustainability ambitions.

The fully electric E-Cross/Loop sorter will be able to process up to 9,000 parcels per hour, supported by three fully automated induction lines, including one with a roll-container tipper.

Intelligent automation system (IAS) cameras will detect non-conveyable parcels, while dynamic speed control (DSC) technology helps to reduce wear and tear and improve the system’s energy efficiency.

Visitors to Parcel+Post Expo, taking place at RAI Amsterdam on October 21-23, were treated to the launch of SwipBox’s new Infinity Flex and Connect models, which combine screen-based convenience with the simplicity of SwipBox’s battery-driven ecosystem.

The winners of this year’s Parcel and Postal Technology International Awards have been announced during a live awards ceremony at Parcel+Post Expo in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The ceremony, held on Tuesday, October 21, revealed who triumphed in each of the nine award categories.

Service Provider of the Year: Omniva

This year’s Service Provider of the Year award went to Omniva for its bold leadership in a transforming postal landscape. With a strategic focus on international logistics, PUDO services and digital transformation, Omniva achieved 64% growth in international business, which now accounts for 26% of its total revenue.

DHL Express Germany has awarded Vanderlande a contract to provide automation solutions – including the SPOX sorter – for its new facility in Cologne. The agreement was signed on October 21 at Parcel+Post Expo 2025 in Amsterdam.

This will be the first time this sorter has been installed at a DHL facility. Able to sort 6,000 items per hour, SPOX will allow DHL Express Germany to handle a mixed flow of regular and small parcels in the Cologne facility – including those as thin as 5mm.
