Logistics company Gebrüder Weiss is offering land transportation across all regions of Russia through its partnership with Zheldor Ekspeditsiya (JDE).

The partner has one of the largest domestic networks in Russia with 244 locations. Its customers will have access to Gebrüder Weiss’s network in central and southeast Europe, China, Asia and the USA.

Thomas Moser, director and regional manager Black Sea/CIS at Gebrüder Weiss, said, “Many of our international customers have set up their own production locations in Russia, where they now also have distribution activities. Our cooperation with JDE means that we have a well-established partner on the Russian market who has a strong land transport network and sound logistics expertise, as well as thorough knowledge of the local customs.”

Gebrueder Weiss has offices along the Silk Road in countries including Georgia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and China.

It has been present in Russia since 2013, with three offices offering air and sea freight services, customs, and land transportation by truck and railway.
