Dürkopp Fördertechnik exhibited at Parcel+Post Expo this week, and its director of sorting solutions, Thomas Gebbert, was keen to talk us through some of the cutting-edge sorting technology the company had on show.
He explained that the advanced push-tray sorters can handle parcels measuring 635 x 625mm, at a rate of nearly 8,000 parcels per hour, and that these can be combined with the company’s Pocket solutions and cross-belt and split-way sorters to meet as many industry requirements as possible.
He also introduced DFT’s new 3D configurator, which can be used to design customized sorting systems to meet specific client requirements.
