Taking inspiration from Liège Airport’s successful CargoLand project, which offers a resilient and efficient e-commerce logistics community operation for Belgium and beyond, four key e-commerce professionals will discuss and disclose solutions to today’s e-commerce logistics challenges.
Speaking on the EU CBEC 2026 panel ‘Navigating the New E-Commerce Landscape: Customs Reform, Consumer Expectations and Logistics Adaptation’ are Kristian Vanderwaeren, general administrator of customs and excise, federal public service finance (Belgium); Jean-Marie Salva, partner, Fendler Salva Partners; Justus Klüver-Schlotfeldt, co-founder, Nex Limited; and Mathieu Sérafimoff, managing partner, SkyForge.
This panel will shed light on where the real customs or data bottlenecks are, using Belgium as a tangible example. It will discuss existing and upcoming regulations within the EU and how these might evolve. It will also offer practical models for designing resilient cross-border flows.
