From July 1, 2026, consumers in Australia will be able to buy and sell second-hand fashion through Vinted, with parcels delivered exclusively by Australia Post.
The three-year partnership will combine Vinted’s marketplace scale with Australia Post’s national delivery network, including post offices, parcel lockers and trusted delivery services, making it easy for sellers to drop off parcels and for buyers to receive their purchases securely and conveniently.
Gary Starr, Australia Post executive general manager parcel, post and e-commerce services, said the partnership reflects the growing importance of trusted, flexible delivery in Australia’s e-commerce and resale economy.
“Vinted’s launch in Australia is a major moment for recommerce, and we’re proud to be the exclusive delivery partner helping bring the platform to Australian consumers,” he said.
“As more Australians embrace second-hand shopping, the delivery experience becomes even more important. Peer-to-peer selling depends on a process that is simple, reliable and easy to access.
“With our national network, parcel lockers and post offices, Australia Post is well placed to support Australians as they buy and sell on Vinted, while helping make resale more convenient at scale.”
The partnership will be supported by a joint campaign across Australia Post and Vinted channels, encouraging Australians to sell the clothes they no longer wear and use Australia Post for simple, convenient shipping from drop-off to delivery.
