Mileway has agreed a lease renewal with Captech for a logistics property in Gothenburg, Sweden, securing the Nordic IT and technology distributor’s continued presence at the site nearly two years before the existing lease was due to expire.
The renewed agreement covers the Balltorp 1:223 facility, which spans 18,000m2 and has direct access to the E6/E20 transportation routes. The property offers 11m of clear height and houses a Knapp OSR shuttle warehouse system, which Captech has already integrated into its operations.
By renewing rather than relocating, Captech avoids disruption to its distribution activities and the cost of moving to a new facility.
Jonas Silander, managing director Nordics at Captech, said, “We have had a very positive and open dialogue with Mileway from the beginning, which made us feel confident in our decision to renew the lease. Being able to continue operating in a facility designed for our needs, where we have already invested in logistics solutions, is a major advantage for us.”
