DX Group and Rhenus Logistics have agreed a strategic partnership that will see DX assume responsibility for Rhenus’s two-person home delivery services in the UK and Ireland.
As part of the agreement, DX will become the exclusive delivery partner for Rhenus’s European Home Delivery proposition across the two markets. The transition will take place through a phased handover, with deliveries moving into DX’s existing two-person delivery operation. The companies say the approach is intended to ensure continuity of service for current customers.
DX operates a national two-person delivery network in the UK and Ireland, handling complex home deliveries for business and residential customers. Founded more than 50 years ago, the company provides parcel, freight, document, fulfillment and final-mile services and has expanded its logistics footprint in recent years.
For Rhenus, the partnership enables continued access to two-person home delivery services in the region without disruption to existing customer contracts. For DX, the agreement strengthens its position in the two-person delivery market and expands its work with international logistics providers.
Gary Dodsworth, managing director of Rhenus Overland Transport UK & Ireland, said service continuity was central to the decision. “Securing continuity and service quality for our customers has been pivotal to our decision. Partnering with DX brings the experience and scale required to provide a premium two-person home delivery service in the UK and Ireland.”
Dodsworth also acknowledged the role of Rhenus staff during the transition. “We are confident that customers will continue to receive the same high level of service as deliveries transition to DX,” he said, adding that the partnership combines the strengths of both companies.
Ian Truesdale, chief executive officer of DX, said the agreement reflects confidence in DX’s two-person delivery capabilities: “We will assume responsibility for Rhenus’s two-person home delivery services in the UK and Ireland, bringing those customers into our established operation with continuity of service.”
The partnership follows DX’s acquisition of HBC Logistics in early January 2026. HBC Logistics is a Bedfordshire-based provider of logistics and same-day delivery services.
