Geopost has expanded its digital showcase platform, Singular, to include cross-border functionality, and it is now available in France and the Netherlands, following successful launches in Italy, Spain, Croatia and Slovenia.
This expansion opens access for more than 100 small and medium-sized enterprises and their 20,000-plus products to consumers across six European countries, broadening the platform’s reach to an estimated 137 million e-shoppers, and supports Geopost’s goal of promoting local European brands while promoting more sustainable, regional e-commerce.
Launched in 2024, Singular was created as a digital discovery platform highlighting the authenticity, creativity and heritage of Europe’s local brands. It offers merchants enhanced visibility and access to consumers through Geopost’s network, including social media channels, websites and local delivery apps. Rather than processing sales directly, the platform redirects shoppers to the merchants’ own websites, ensuring that businesses retain full control over their transactions and branding. With the new cross-border functionality, Singular enables consumers to buy products not only from local SMEs in their own country, but also from other countries in the Singular network.
Martin Calmels, e-consumer services director at Geopost, said, “With Singular, we are proud to open the European market to SMEs and give them a platform to showcase their craft. By opening the door to cross-border exposure, we are helping local merchants reach new customers across Europe and offer consumers access to authentic products, while supporting the growth of local European companies. Our proven expertise in cross-border delivery provides these SMEs with a complete logistics solution, from outreach to delivery, giving a significant boost their business development.”
Since launch, Singular has attracted over 675,000 unique visitors and now features 115 e-merchants, underlining a strong consumer appetite for authentic, sustainable and locally made products. The platform’s recent extension in France includes fresh products delivered via Chronofresh.
Geopost plans to extend Singular to additional markets in 2026, further reinforcing its position as a driver of SME digital growth and cross-border commerce in Europe.
