Hellmann Worldwide Logistics has doubled its warehouse capacity in the Melbourne metropolitan area with the opening of a new state-of-the-art contract logistics center in Truganina, in Victoria, Australia.
The new 19,000m² center has 18,000 pallet spaces and modern warehouse and inventory management systems to enable Hellmann to deliver a broader portfolio of innovative and sustainable logistics solutions to both existing and new customers.
The site is also aiming to achieve a five-star Green Star As-Built certification with a 200kW solar system, 30,000-liter rainwater tanks and 10 charging stations for electric vehicles.
