Meeting growing global demand for low-cost, efficient and secure package distribution is an ongoing problem for merchants and logistics companies operating in the booming e-commerce industry. Cleveron has reinvented its one-size-fits-all solution to those infamous last-mile delivery issues, which include failed deliveries, temperature sensitive packages, security and high costs. Cleveron will unveil its PackRobot at Post-Expo 2015.

PackRobot emerges from five years of development and on-the-job feedback and brings advanced features that reduce costs, improve security and efficiency, and enhance end-user convenience. The new automated parcel terminal (APT) can be used indoors and out thanks to adjustable internal climate control.

According to Cleveron, existing APTs are plagued by under-utilization, as compartments are fixed to a number of specifically sized parcels. With PackRobot, that problem is 100% solved thanks to an innovative 3D lift system that picks and delivers the parcel to a secure delivery slot. Space use is maximized by stacking parcels tight and high. This means that PackRobot, according to Cleveron, can accommodate three times as many parcels per square meter as the leading competitor.

To learn more about Cleveron’s new PackRobot APT visit stand 5100 at Post-Expo 2015, September 29 to October 1, in Paris, France.
