Parcelforce Worldwide, the international courier arm of UK postal operator Royal Mail, has moved its Manchester depot to a new upgraded facility located at Stakehill Industrial Estate to the north of the city.

The move significantly increases Parcelforce’s capacity in the local area, supporting the delivery of high levels of service. The depot’s new automated sorting system has been designed in partnership with Parcelforce Worldwide and Caljan.

Customers looking to send parcels can arrange a free collection from their home or place of work, or drop-off their parcels at the new Manchester depot which has longer opening hours from 8:00am – 7:00pm, Monday to Friday, and 8:00am – 12.30pm on Saturday.

A Parcelforce Worldwide spokesperson said, “The relocation of the Manchester depot ensures we can support the delivery of a high level of service in the area.

“The design of the new depot gives us the best use of space and productivity and integrates services from depots and direct customers. Just in time for peak, we are prepared for a busy festive season in the area.”
