Your role in our team

·         You will work as part of a multi-discipline team to perform trouble-shooting maintenance, enhancement, testing, and support of Material Handling Automation Equipment.

·         You will complete recommendations for ideas related to productivity improvement, cost reduction and improvement in customer satisfaction

·         You will perform presentations of technical findings and developments.

·         You will complete the software quality process through the execution of complex module, subsystem and system test procedures.

·         You will interact with customers and end users to resolve Material Handling Equipment system issues supporting uptime and efficiency goals.

·         You will fill an entry-level professional role able to grasp basic electrical / controls engineering concepts

·         You will have the ability to progress through the Engineering Department after a successful rotation in the Services Department

Your profile

·         You have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification may be required in some areas

·         You have experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Schneider PLC languages, architecture and networks desired. Other platforms a plus.

·         You have experience in Electrical schematic and panel design (Control Panels, Motor Control Panels, Motor Control Centers, Power Distribution) using AutoCAD Electrical

·         You have Network design using Profinet, Profibus, ASI Bus, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Ethernet/IP

·         Experience in Human-Machine Interface programming preferred.

·         You have experience with conveyor systems (Parcel, Baggage, ASRS, Etc.), large machine design, and/or motor control desired.

·         You have strong verbal and written communication skills

·         You have strong ability to document technical decisions with illustrations and clear verbal explanations

·         You have the ability to work flexible schedule, as needed, to meet customer demands

·         You are able to travel – 50%
